It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beecher Kerrell Yancey (Blountsville, Alabama), who passed away on June 30, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yancey and Thelma Hart Yancey; and his siblings, Thomas Yancey, Ledora Morris and Lema Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Atchley Yancey; his children, Nickey Shelton (Sheila), Linda Mitchell (Wendell), Charlotte Bryant, Dawn Houston, Helen Osborn (Jackie) and Rachel Fisher (Glenn); and his siblings, Jim Yancey (Margie), Clara Latham, Roberta White, Veleria Downs (Benny) and Gertha Lynn (James). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
