He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Harris; his parents, Oscar Harris and Ethel Buckner Harris; his daughter Debora Carrol; and his siblings, Waid Harris, Agnes Littlejohn, Irene Ricondra, Bernice Hallman, Lois Huffstutler, Audrey Harris and Martha Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Scates Harris; and his daughters, Teresa Harris Schauer, Cathy Holt (Brian) and Pamela Odeneal (Lance). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The lying in state will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lees Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
