He was predeceased by: his father Willie William Pace; and his sisters, Margert Ann Walker, Rosa Jones and Mable Zimmerman. He is survived by: his mother Minister Rosa B. Cannon; his children, La'Tesh McGinest (Aaron) and Lamon Jackson (Kenyetta); his grandchildren, Arieyunna, Arieyelle, Isaiah, Elijah and Aadyn; his great grandchildren, A'Nylah and A'Laiyah; his siblings, Michael Brown (Rita), Hollie Brown (Elita), Eric Pope, Peggy Winborn of Columbus, Bessie Chandler, Minister Gwaunna Davis, Brenda Brown, Kimberly Bates (Tavaries) and Nicole Williams (Roderick) of Birmingham, Alabama; his aunts and uncles, Lawrence Bowie, John Bowie, Reverend Roosevelt Bowie, Willie Bowie, Cleophus Bowie, Annie Joyce Penn, Angelia Bowie and Charlene Taylor; and his close friend Nadine Bell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
