He was predeceased by: his sister Charlotte Ellis Williams of Cartersville, GA.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Brown Ellis; his children, Randall Joseph Ellis (Sharon) of Cartersville, GA and Caroline Farris Ellis (Lee Ledbetter) of Birmingham, AL.; his grandchildren, Galen Ledbetter (Nicci) of Iowa, Bailey Ledbetter Driver (Andy) of Columbiana, AL and Alaina Gray Ellis of Cartersville, GA; and his great grandchildren, Ezra, Emmett and Eli Ledbetter.
Memorial donations can be made in Bill's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Parkinson's Foundation.
