He was predeceased by: his wife Irma C. Ford; his parents, William C. Ford Sr. and Amanda Pearl Dollar Ford; his daughter Martha Jane Ford Tarter; and his siblings, Eulene Ford, Audrey Owen, Elizabeth Tidwell, Dorothy Williamson, Harold, James and Kermit Ford.

He is survived by: his daughter Hazel Marie Humphrey (Bob) of Huntsville; and his grandchildren, Robert Humphrey of Seattle, WA, Kecia Pierce (Terry) of Madison, Scott Humphrey of Madison, Roxanne Shirley (Mike) of Lawrenceville, GA, Felicia Vansickle (Sam) of Howell, MI and Debbie Duplain of Salisbury, NC. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
