He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence Hurst, Sr. and Alice Parker Hurst; his brother Bob Hurst; and his son Joel Andrew Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jones Hurst; his children, David Hurst (Angie) and Corrie Weiss (Scott); his daughter-in-law Shannon M. Hurst; his grandsons, DJ Hurst, Zach Hurst, Drew Hurst and Will Weiss; and his nieces and nephews, April McWilliams Chandler, Michael Burt, Lisa Burt Wallace, Abbie Hurst and Logan Hurst.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Hurst's family requests that donations be made in his memory to Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 151, Lincoln, AL 35096.
