“Our friendship began 56 years ago in Vietnam when we were very young. Bill was funny, honest, dependable, and just a good guy treating everyone with respect. He earned his degree going nights after leaving the Service. He was the best man at my wedding. He was brevetted to Lt. Colonel in the National Guard after he was hit by a car. My wife referred to him as "My Colonel". He married a wonderful Lady, Carolyn, who passed away far to early. Bill will truly be missed but he is with Carolyn now.”
