With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wilbur K. Allen Jr. (Birmingham, Alabama), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Wilbur may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wilbur touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elon Pritchard Allen; his sons, Will Allen (Katie) and Pritchard Allen (Emma); his grandchildren, Kate, Annie Allen and Brennan Allen; his sister Kay Allen Howell (Tommy); and his parents, Wilbur K. Allen Sr. and Christine Gibbs Allen. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews.
