He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wesley Hamilton and Edith Dunnill Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his daughter Kate Broussard (Jeff); his granddaughter Lucie; his siblings, Candy Hacker, Cindy McRee, Laura Pirkle (Robert) and Andrew (Lisa); and his sister-in-law Carol Dodson. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to pancreatic cancer research through the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org).
