He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jackson, Sr. and Ella Moore Jackson; and his sister Celester Jackson. He is survived by: his sister Mary Jackson Watson; and his aunt Ida B. Seamon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Paul Catholic Church (2120 3rd Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
