He is survived by: his wife Ann Boyd; his children, Delen Boyd (Dawn), Karen Boyd, Cheryl Collins (Greg) and Kelly Hearon; his grandchildren, Benjamin Boyd (Marion), William Boyd, Chad Collins (Laura), Christian Collins (Taylor) and Christian Hearon; his great grandchildren, Everett Boyd, Miles Boyd and Teagan Collins; and his sister Millie McNutt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers make donations to the Overlook Project at the Alabama National Cemetery PO Box 648 Montevallo AL 35115 or the 1st Baptist Church CenterPoint.
