She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Carroll and Dolly Carroll; her siblings, Lula Bell Klapp, Inez White, Lovie Patterson, J. C. Carroll, Billy Carroll, Jackie Carroll, Travis Carroll, Thomas Carroll and Prentice Carroll; and her son-in-law George Gibel.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Don Hovater; her daughters, Donna Gibel and Penny Skinner; her grandchildren, Jamie Russell and Aaron Walker; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Russell, Caroline Russell and Atlas Walker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
