She was predeceased by: her mother Eddie Scott; her husband Arthur Evans; her daughters, Regina Price and Felicia Price; her granddaughter Shakeda Price; and her siblings, Velma Tullis, Eloise Dennis, Jetta Scott, Essie Mae Scott, Eddie Scott, Jr., Donald Scott, Johnny Scott, Isaac Scott and Wayne Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Price, Jr. and Ada Mitchum (Bernard); and her grandchildren, Aljumar, Telicia, Kalia, Elliana, Jonah Price, Lamar Staten, Lamar Scott and Braxton Mitchum. She is also survived by great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
