She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bynum and O'Leva Bynum; her husband Billy McBrayer; and her siblings, Morris Bynum, Boyd Bynum, Carter Bynum and Olean Dean.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Hyatt (Jan) and John Hyatt (Phoebe); and her grandchildren, Michael Hyatt (Courtney), Hayden Hyatt (Kathleen) and Kirsten Minor (Barry). She is also survived by step-children and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens East (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 8:00 PM.
