She is survived by: her children, Ralph McClain Jr. (Eva), Reginald McClain Sr. of Birmingham, Kevin Bell (Angela) of Chicago, IL, Cynthia Lewis, Vanessa Cook and Constance Anderson of Birmingham, Alabama; her grandchildren, Christopher, Eddie, Chastity, Shaki, Reginald Jr., Cameron, Kiara, Corei, Antenesha, Kyla, Kobe, Tyler, Tristan and McKenzie; her siblings, Ruth Brewster of Atlanta, Thelma Johnson of Birmingham, Alabama and Leon Lewis (Bernice) of Birmingham, Alabama.; and her siblings-in-law, Oliver Hanberry Sr., Johnny Bell, Emma Jones of Birmingham, Juanita Santana of Birmingham, Deborah Bell of Birmingham and Pearl Bell of Birmingham.
She was a proud member of Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized, Velma's Heart and American Heart Association.
