Stephen Everett Long Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Everett Long (Birmingham, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph, Martha Sullivan, Jack and Lena Mae Long. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Long; his daughters, Jordan, Jessica and Julie; his parents, Roy Long and Lisa Long; his sister Beth Long Copham (Craig); his mother-in-law Cheryl Lowery; his brother-in-law Scott Lowery (Caroline); and his nieces and nephews, Anna Copham, Jacob Copham, Sarah Copham, Gretchen Lowery and Blakely Lowery.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of the Highlands Grants Mill Plant Trees (4700 Highlands Way, Birmingham, AL 35210). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Birmingham Crisis Center for Suicide Prevention or The Stephen Long Memorial Children's College Fund at First Baptist Church Trussville.
