Solomon Cheney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2023, at the age of 81, Solomon Cheney of Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Sr. Cheney and Minnie Lee Cheney of Birmingham, Alabama.; his siblings, Evelyn Alexander (James), Betty Jean Parker (Willie James) and Walter Leonard Cheney (Vivian); and his children, Shandrella and Darnella.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia West; his sibling Shandrella Yvette (Darnella Denise); his son LaMoyne; his brother Hiram Max Cheney; his godchildren, Mya Washington, Nia Washington and Michael L. Davis Jr.; and also LaMoyne Trevor. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
