She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Armstrong Sr. and Lillian Irene Armstrong; and her siblings, Vivian Irene Hamilton, Robert Putman Armstrong and James Edward Armstrong Jr..

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Carol Y. Davis, Deborah A. Pearson, Rebecca A. Brown, Calvin Leo Hamilton Jr., Scott Armstrong and James Edward Armstrong III.
