We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2021, at the age of 91, Sarah R. Thomas of Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband L. S. Thomas, Jr.; her parents, Steiner Lewis and Amanda Josey Rowell; and her siblings, Lewis, Raymond, Andy, James, Wayne, Mary Alice Rowell, Jane House, Virginia Whitlock and Margaret Latham.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Tucker (James) and Michael Thomas (Ellen); her grandchildren, Kimberly Hooper (Brian), Jillian Tucker, Lane Brown (Graham) and Kirk Thomas (Caroline); her great grandchildren, Langley, Austin Hooper and Nathan Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Ann Rowell, Martha Couch and Jerry Thomas (Beth). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
