With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Carolyn Phariss of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hillard and Flora Elizabeth Simmons; her husband Donald Phariss; her daughter Linda Dutton; and her siblings, Louis, Johnny, Ray Simmons and Dorothy "Dottie" Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Bahakel (Rich), Sandra Dianne Schillaci, Vanessa Kaye "Casey" Ganier, Rosemarie, Jeff Polston (Joyce) and David Ray. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great grand-children, 3 great, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
