It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Anthony Pilato (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on September 6, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joe and Sarah. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Nail (Steve), Mary Jo Schreiner (Steve), Bernadette Edens (John), Raphael Leach (Art) and Vincent Pilato (Susan); his grandchildren, Jennifer Williams (Scott), Christy McAuley (Rodney), Kimberly Nail, Amy Schreiner, Erika Freeman (Anthony), Phillip Edens, Charlotte Gay (Randy), Jessica Leach, Arthur Leach and Sam Pilato; and his sister Virginia Crapet.
