She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Lucy Howard; her husband Robert Cook; her siblings, Timothy Howard, Gaither Quinn, Jr., Mattie Wilson, Mary Blackmon and Elizabeth Hale; her children, Voncile Hicks, Anthony Hicks, Charles Hicks, Jr., Dexter Hicks of Birmingham, AL and Valerie Stover (Russell) of Pleasant Grove, AL; her sister Earline Houston of Brooklyn, NY; and her sisters-in-law, Willie Ella Cargill of Birmingham, AL and Plesie Cook of Birmingham, AL. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
