We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2024, at the age of 91, Ruby Persad (Birmingham, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ruby's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ruby has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roland J Persad; and her daughters, Sushilla Subran and Angie Persad. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Keeling, Robin Persad, Steve Persad, Chandra Jeffcoat, Usha Kokatay, Shakilla Sookram, Joe Persad and Mala Gargus.
