With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Vernon Rodgers (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on November 9, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vernon Rodgers and Helen Nabors Rodgers; his brother Jack Rodgers; and his brother-in-law Gene Aaron Mann. He is survived by: his siblings, Jo Ann (Gene Aaron Mann) and David Byrd; his wife Bobbie; his children, Robbin Rodgers Johnson (Mike) of Jasper, AL and Walter Rodgers (Denise) of Gardendale, AL; his grandchildren, Stephanie Whisler (Derek) of Seward, NE, Ashlan and Brooke Rodgers; his great grandchildren, Ty Whisler and Colton Whisler; and also, Jo Ann, Debra Mann and John Mann.
