He was predeceased by: his siblings, Carolyn Blair and Bill Tate. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his sons, Robert G Tate Jr. (Laura) of Atlanta and Stephen R Tate (Liz) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Erin, Elise and Reid Tate; his nieces and nephews, Ann Blair Campagna, Sue Blair Brandt, Mac and Greye Tate; and his sister-in-law Tootsie Tate.
Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, send donations to Shades Valley Presbyterian Church or Kirkwood by the River.
