He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stanley Washer and Rosemary Ennis Washer; and his brother James Preston Washer. He is survived by: his wife Rita Washer; his children, Kathy Jones (George), Robert Stanley Washer III (Mary Alys), Michael Todd Washer (Melissa), Tony Blackwell and Christy Franklin (Michael); his grandchildren, Tara Dugger (Bill), Rachel Arencibia (Ernesto), Lacey Maslyn (Kevin), Robbie Washer (Anna), Regan Washer (Leah), Ryan Washer (Nicole), Kaitlyn Cummings (Jospeh), Emily Blackwell, Molly Franklin and Henry Franklin; and his brother William Lee Washer. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
