It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Newton Evans Sr. of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Alexander Evans and Verna Sue Evans. He is survived by: his wife Patsy A. Evans; his sons, Robert N. Evans Jr. (Linda) and Rev. Patrick M. Evans; his grandchildren, Courtney E. Evans, Morgan L. Saucier (David) and Robert N. Evans III; and his great grandchild Gabriel S. Saucier. He is also survived by his family, friends.
