It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Weldon (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Weldon and Sallie Mae Weldon; and his wife Joyce 'Tut Mackey. He is survived by: his brother Lelus Weldon (Gail); his sister-in-law Paula Weldon; his daughters, Joyce Freed (Peter), Teresa Manley and Sallie Freed; his grandchildren, Bobby Hill, Jamey Thompson, Lucy Hill, Jill Lucas (Jon), John Hill, Rebecca Hernadi-Freed (Zolton) and Carter Freed; and his great grandchildren, Jack Lucas, Jenny Lucas and Leon Hernadi-Freed.
