It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Turner of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Turner and Jesse Turner. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mauldin Turner; his daughters, Laurie Goodloe (Bill), Karen Barrios (Camille) and Sandy Gann (Randy); his grandchildren, Jordan Sterley (Matt), Matthew Goodloe (Dana), Hayden Gann and Jamie Swiderski (Scott); his great grandchildren, Madden, Peyton Sterley, Michael Swiderski, Hadley and Parker Goodloe; and his siblings, Bill Turner (Mary Jane), Roger Turner (Sherry), Shirley Cooper and Carole Williams (Sonny).
Due to covid-19 restrictions, services will be limited to family only.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Saint Mark United Methodist Church Children's Department or the Parkinson's Foundation.
