He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Sherman and Marjorie Lynch Sherman Hammett. He is survived by: his wife Darla Sherman (Tabler); his children, Michelle Bartow (Joel) of Parkland and Richard Max Sherman Jr. (Terri) of Enumclaw; his grandchildren, Blaine Bartow, Melissa Sherman, Grant Bartow (Sofia), Richard Max Sherman III, Gillian Bartow and Ashley Sherman; and his sisters, Suzanne Norris and Karen Sherman Nelson (Michael). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
