We bid farewell to Richard Carlson (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Morris, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 18, 2024 at the age of 77. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his family Dick; his wife Alicia; his sons, Jeremy Carlson (Laura) and Nathan Carlson (Leslie); his grandchildren, Ann Wright Carlson, Alice Carlson, Gabriel Carlson and Gideon Carlson; his sister Janet Hixenbaugh (David); his brother-in-law Roy Golsan (Pamela); his nephews, Roy Golsan, Jr. and Rhett Golsan (Mary); his niece Kristin Hixenbaugh; and his parents, William L. Carlson and Ethel Svendsen Carlson.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's on the Highlands Episcopal Church (1910 12th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35205).
