He was predeceased by: his wife Vickie Henderson Ayers; his daughter Allison Keeley Ayers; his grandson Nickolas Stanford Nelson; his parents, Hilure Ayers and Sadie Ayers; and his siblings, Norman Ayers, Dorothy Keller and Hilda Palmer.
He is survived by: his sister Sarah K. Ayers Glenos; his daughter Wendy Ayers Brister; his son-in-law Bob Brister; and his granddaughter Ashley Nicole Nelson.
