He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ben, Mia, Abbie, Sam and Evan; his wife Linda; and his children, Hunter (Erika) of Vestavia Hills, Scott (Alison) of Bluff Park, Karen Ponder Messersmith of Alabaster and Rebecca Ponder Mitchell of St. He is also survived by his family and friends.
