He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leon, Thelma Gambrell and Cleveland Drummond; his grandparents-in-law, Dennis, Betty Osburn and Ernest Reed; and his sister Rebekah Gambrell.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Osburn Gambrell; his parents, Bob Gambrell and Priscilla Gambrell; his brothers, Robert Gambrell (Erica) and Jeff DeShazo (Heidi); his grandmother Dorris Drummond; his parents-in-law, Patricia and Donald Osburn; his grandfather-in-law Joanna Reed; his siblings-in-law, Stacie Osburn, Lisa Majerik (Matthew), Michael Osburn (Rachel) and James Sands; his nieces and nephews, Tristan Boso, Connor Osburn, Mason Majerik, Halle Boso, Elisabeth Boso, Lauren Gambrell, Audrey Osburn and Nora Majerik; his godchildren, Aiden and Elena Dennis; and his pets, Roman and Rosita.

Due to covid, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
