She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard P. Hood and Lois Mildred Hood; and her husband Billy J. Tucker. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy H. Brasher; her son Robert D. Hughes; her grandchildren, Natalie Hughes and Tim Hughes; and her great grandchildren, Ellis Lipp, Talan Hersey, Brennan Benifield, Odin Hughes, Trip Benifield and Conner Hughes. She is also survived by extended family of her niece and her nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235).
