She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Elliot and Mattie Donald Elliot; her husband Richard Macklin; her sons, Robert Montgomery and James Montgomery, Jr.; her granddaughter Hope of Washington; her great grandchild Boston Montgomery; her siblings, Noah Sampson, Frank Sampson, Marvin Elliot, Rufus Elliot, Sr., Willie Moore and Emma Ruth Finch; and her son-in-law Jesse Jones.
She is survived by: her former husband James D. Montgomery; her children, Helen Jones, Etta Montgomery, Mattie Albert (Dale), Franklin Montgomery, Sr. (Yvonne) and Glenda Hodge (Marion); her goddaughter Crystal Finch; her grandchildren, Jerome Montgomery (Kimberly), Cornelius Jones (Mekeisha), Tia Montgomery, Mitchell Montgomery (Odessa), Franklin Montgomery, Jr., Joseph Montgomery, Faith Montgomery, Michael Montgomery, Aisha Edwards (Donavan), Marion Hodge, Jr. and Russandra Beavers; her nephew Jessie Sampson (Jenna); and her sisters-in-law, Lucy Elliot and Zanie Elliot. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, church family members and friends.
