It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Samuelson (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wallace H. E. and Lois Confeld Samuelson; his nephew Charles V. Wilkerson, III; his sons, David (Elizabeth) and Marc (Jamie); his grandchildren, Aidan, Aliyah, Parker and Emma; his sister Basja Samuelson; his brother-in-law Charles V. Wilkerson, Jr. (Barbara); his niece Emily Coffman (Bill); and his close friend Mallory Gray.
