He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his son David Houston Blackwell (Sandy); his grandchildren, Kelly Blackwell Tortorice (Tommy) and Christopher Houston Blackwell (Alana); his great grandchildren, Tanner Reed Blackwell, Christian Paul Blackwell and Luke Totorice; and his sister Barbara Blackwell Simmons.
