He is survived by: his mother Shirley Crowson McCain Wilcox (Bill); his sister Rev. Sarah Wilcox Smoot (Tyler); his nephews, James and Daniel Smoot; his aunt Rev. Dorothy Gerr; and his uncle Stephen McCain (Cathy). He is also survived by animals and adopted many cats and dogs.
