She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Wood and Ruth Wood; her husband Jim Bivens; her daughter Cindy Bivens; her husband Ronald Garrett; her stepdaughter Pattie Garrett Seibert; her sister Margaret Self; and her niece Sue Self.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Glenda Duncan (Ronnie), John Self (Leslie), Steve Self (Joan) and Jean Robertson; her grandchildren, Monica Seibert Hobson and Chris Seibert; her son-in-law David Seibert (Riley); and her close friend Janis Sorrell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable memorial donations be made to an animal rescue or support organization of your choice.
