With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Otis Reed Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis, Sr. Reed and Reverend Arthero Faulk Reed; and his siblings, Thero Mae Reed Taylor and Narotha Reed Smith. He is survived by: his significant other Pamela Johnson Reed; his son Anton Reed of Detroit, MI; his grandchildren, Marcellous L. Johnson (Abrea), Arthur J. Wilder and Kenya W. Trannon (Ray); his siblings, Reverend Ike Reed (Brenda), Wyteria Reed DeJarnett (Zack), Alford Reed (Daisy) and Reverend Serenta Reed Chaney (Raymond); and also James Allen of Hooper City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
