It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Olen DeWayne Gaines of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Amy Gaines. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Louise Peterson Gaines; his children, Timothy DeWayne Gaines (Lara) and April Louise Gaines; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Hollis), Danielle, Emma, Tucker, Victoria and Reed; his sister Linda Gaines Roberts (Mike); and his friends, Alex Smith and Bryon Farley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Crestview Memorial Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
