She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Roy and Elma Duck Avery; her husband Charles V. Estes; and her son Charles B. Estes. She is survived by: her son Cary Estes (Laura Levie) of Birmingham; and her grandchildren, Katherine Estes and Brian Estes of Atlanta.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Mrs. Estes' memory be made to one's favorite Alzheimer's foundation.
