She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Wiggins Brittain and Dr. John Pryor Brittain; her husband William Carl Jernigan; and her siblings, Virginia Thompson, Paul Brittain and Mary Allums.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Wooten (Craig), Ann Jollit (Bill) and David Jernigan (Shannon); her grandchildren, Lauren, Nick, Hope Howard, Grace Ann Hardison (Will), Sarah Bradford (Miller), Chloe Jernigan, Cole and Raines Jernigan; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Ward, Virginia Ann Hardison, Brock, Baine and Brody Bradford.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Briarwood Presbyterian Church (2200 Briarwood Way, Birmingham, AL 35243).
Donations may be made in her honor to her favorite charity, The Salvation Army.
