She is survived by: her husband Walton Newton Nichols; her daughters, Eleanor Nichols Morgan and Judith Joiner; her children-in-law, Charles Morgan and Susan Elaine Nichols; her son James Walton Nichols; and her grandchildren, Angela Zimmerman, Misty Bradshaw, Heather Joiner Johnson, Stephanie Joiner, Amanda Joiner, Mark Joiner, Sharon Nichols, Grace Nichols Robinson and James Patrick Nichols. She is also survived by 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to local foodbanks.
