We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2023, at the age of 91, Muriel Allgood Lyke of Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian Allgood and Billie Busbee Allgood. She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas Weatherall; her husband James Lyke; her brother Stephen Craig Allgood (Myralyn); her sons, Edward Weatherall and Kevin Lyke; her grandchildren, Lauren, Tom and Stephanie Weatherall; her cousins, Ann B. Lee, Carol Jackson Powell and Robert Jackson; her great-nephews, Stephen, Patrick, Luke and Will Shaw; and her niece Allison Allgood Shaw (Jack).
