He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Clinton Allsup, Jr. and Helen Cora Bryant Allsup. He is survived by: his wife Julia McNair; his sons, Henry, William, Joseph and Clinton; his brother Jimmy Allsup of Pascagoula; and his sons, Edward, Aubrey and Gordon. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boy Scouts of Alabama.
