She was predeceased by: her parents, William Madison Bennett and Sammie Amanda Williams Bennett; and her husband John T. Frost. She is survived by: her nephew James Walker; her children, John Keith Frost (Anita Humphrey), Jacqueline Yvonne Griffin (Arthur Wayne) and Fred Ervin Frost; her grandchildren, Convonta Stone, Georgia Scott (Anthony), Melanie Turner (Robert Jr.), Matthew Frost (Tiffanie), Carmen Frost and Roman Griffin (Lorraine); her great grandchildren, Reginald Scott, Tyler Scott and Christiana Frost; and her brother Robert Samuel Bennett (Ceola). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (2240 S Mt Zion Rd, Greenville, AL 36037). A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the same location.
Her contributions to the Walk-A-Thon earned her a Woman of the Year Award from the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, the primary sponsors of the Butler County Walk-A-Thon.
