Matthew Rudolph Olsofski Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Rudolph Olsofski (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; his parents, Visel and Mary; his aunt Alice; and his siblings, Marie, Margaret, Catherine, Helene, Betty, Bill, George and John Carl.

He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Prince, Jane L. Atchison, Ruth Leath and Peggy Eady (Roy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery at 11:00 on Monday, January 4th.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the general fund at Irondale United Methodist Church.
