Nash of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul James Williams and Eleanor Hazen Williams; her husband R. Nelson Nash of Athens; her brother Paul Richard Williams; her daughter-in-law Janel Kong Nash; and her great grandchildren, Austin Patrick Ladner and Isaac Raleigh Ladner.
She is survived by: her children, Debby Nash Mathews (Jake Jr.) of Anniston, AL, Dr. Barrington Nelson Nash (Claudia) of Knoxville, TN and Kimberly Nash Stearns (David) of Birmingham; and her brother Henry David Williams. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
